Maintenance
WBNA currently carries out several ‘in- harbour’ maintenance activities for a number of clients, and we are steadily gearing up to be in a position to carry out more varied marine maintenance tasks across the top of Australia.
Due to other contractual commitments WBNA currently has workboats and crew on Darwin Harbour 24 hours a day - seven days a week. Therefore, WBNA can deliver a service or complete a maintenance task for a prospective client at reasonably short notice around the clock if required, utilising equipment and crew that is used to being available round the clock (in Darwin Harbour specifically).
Some of the marine maintenance tasks that WBNA has been involved in are;
- Change-out of wharf pile anodes for cathodic protection
- Installation of wharf pile anodes for cathodic protection
- Removal, refurbishment, and reinstallation of moorings
- Remote lighthouse maintenance where access by sea is the most productive
- Removal and tow in of navigational aids due for service or refurbishment
- Tow out and reinstallation of navigational aids that have been serviced or refurbished
- Marine infrastrucure cleaning and preparation for painting
- Wharf services supply infrastructure maintenance or change-out
- In water maintenance/hydrotesting of condensate off-take hose strings
Every month WBNA carry out new and varied tasks for clients. If your project needs marine work platforms and/or crew, please do not hesitate to contact WBNA who would appreciate the opportunity to quote for your venture.
