WBNA - Marine Maintenance Activities

WBNA currently carries out several 'in- harbour' maintenance activities for a number of clients, and we are steadily gearing up to be in a postion to carry out more varied marine maintenance tasks across the top of Australia.

Due to other contractual commitments WBNA currently has workboats and crew on Darwin Harbour 24 hrs a day - 7 days a week. Therfore WBNA can deliver a service / complete a maintenance task for a prospective client at reasonably short notice around the clock if required, utilizing equipment and crew that is used to being available round the clock (in Darwin Harbour specifically).

Some of the marine maintenance tasks that we have been involved in are as follows;

  • Change-out of wharf pile anodes for cathodic protection
  • Installation of wharf pile anodes for cathodic protection
  • Removal, refurbishment, and reinstallation of moorings
  • Remote Light House maintenance where access by sea is the most productive
  • Removal and tow in of navigational aids due for service / refurbishment
  • Tow out and reinstallation of navigational aids that have been serviced / refurbished
  • Marine infrastrucure cleaning and preparation for painting
  • Wharf services supply infrastructure maintenance / change-out
  • In water maintenance / hydrotesting of Condensate Off-Take Hose Strings
